Surf View is located on the slopes of a hill 1 mile off the Wild Atlantic Way and with stunning views of coastline beaches, Clew Bay with Clare and Inisturk Islands and Ireland's holy mountain, Croagh Patrick. It is surrounded by farmland with sheep grazing in the fields and with safe roads for walking and cycling.


  • Louisburgh - is a small town on the southwest corner of Clew Bay in County Mayo, Ireland. It is home to Sancta Maria College and the Gráinne O'Malley Interpretive Centre. Nearby Roonagh Pier, approx. 6 kms from the town, is the departure point for ferries to Clare Island and Inishturk. On the May Bank Holiday Weekend the town hosts a traditional music festival - Féile Chois Chuan - which attracts a large number of enthusiasts from many parts of Ireland and abroad.

  • Croagh Patrick - Croagh Patrick (764 metres) is Ireland's "holy" mountain, an important site of pilgrimage. There are marvellous views from the top including Clew Bay in the North and the Connemara Mountains in the South
  • Westport - Westport is a popular tourist destination and a designated heritage town. It hosts a number of famous pubs and excellent restaurants and many festivals and events are held in and around Westport each year. Designed by the famous architects Richard Cassels and James Wyatt in the 18th century, Westport House is considered one of the most significant historic homes in Ireland and is open to the public. It is situated in a parkland setting with a lake, terraces and gardens.
  • Connemara - is one of the most beautiful, unspoilt places in Ireland. Roughly bordered by Killary Harbour in the north and Roundstone in the south it features fascinating mountains, lakes, bogs as well as golden beaches.
